It includes a 12-month independent research project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the masters\u055b program, the students will plan, execute, and report on research related to their career goals and field within the maritime industry. This flexible, distance learning program allows the students to study even while at sea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here, the students can choose their research topic, with support from their tutor to help guide their work. Upon completing the project, the students will graduate with an MSc in Engineering for Marine Professionals.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Entry requirements&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1617195261299-8837da28-d6d4&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Postgraduate Diploma in Marine Engineering or a similar, related qualification\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Combination of higher education and a First\/Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency, along with several years\u2019 experience sailing at that level or above\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chartered Marine Engineer status<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you do not possess a Postgraduate Diploma in Marine Engineering, you may need to complete and return the Entry Criteria Form.
